The crew knows you're in charge when you don the Star Trek Movie Adult Gold Shirt costume. Made famous by James T. Kirk of the U.S.S. Enterprise, variations of this gold uniform are worn by command and helm personnel, such as Hikaru Sulu and Pavel Chekov of the bridge crew. However, the three rank stripes on the sleeve confine this tunic to those with the grade of captain. The retro cut and loose fit recall the original TV series of the 1960s. But the overall texture on the fabric of tiny emblems declares that this costume comes from the modern movie reboot. The attached polyester-spandex black dicky makes any face ready for a cinematic closeup. The Starfleet emblem screen-printed on the left chest shows the rocket-style symbol of command. The polyester material keeps this costume fresh through many intergalactic adventures. Hand-washing rejuvenates it for new missions.
Does Not Include: Phaser, slacks or shoes.
This is an officially licensed Star Trek product.
The uniforms on the original Star Trek series were originally designed by William Ware Theiss. Using them as a jumping off point, Michael Kaplan designed the reboot movie versions on which these costumes are based. Actors Chris Pine, John Cho and Anton Yelchin wore versions of this costume in the modern Star Trek movies.
