Title: Buy Early & Do Prep Work

Date: Sep 18, 2011

I wore this last year (2010). Overall it is a great costume, but there are a few things other reviews online got right. To avoid hassle later and make this costume really come together order early so you can prep it. First: size- they do run larger so order a size smaller, unless you are borderline to a size less, then go two sizes down. If you still find it not fitting correctly, I put loops down the backside and threaded black shoestring through to create a sort of corset. Second, wig- it will need to be taken out and placed over something to suspend it and have time to fluff up from being flattened in the bag. Third, apple headband- unfortunately this is poorly glued together, I would recommend doing like I did and re-gluing it with hot glue. Lastly, knives- the round rubber at the end that holds it to the costume need to be flattened under something for a few days. If you can glue it to the inside, I recommend it. Ironically, not many people noticed the daggers at first and didn't know what I was. lol.
