Title: Smart move

I purchased the NASA suit and helmet for my 9 yr old to use for a 4th grade school project. I was very ambivilent with my decision to spend over $90 for a "prop" for a school project but I really wanted her to look authentic at her class' "wax museum" presentation of the 2nd woman in space. When it arrived and she put it on....I was so pleased and proud that I went thru with it and made such a smart move! It looks very realistic and not like a little kid's toy!

This makes a great gift for any child that loves to learn about and play space! We bought one for each of our older boys and they love them! The delivery is also very quick!

Title: Astronaut Helmet

Great product!! Very Authentic Could use some extra padding strips or foam to fit smaller size heads. Visor button and talking features are what puts this over the top. My son wore this for Halloween this year and it was a hit no other child had this custome and he got alot of compliments.

Title: Good addition to the costume

This helmet made for some great pictures. Having said that my son left the helmet behind for trick or treating and socializing. The helmet is very large and my 4 year old had to hold it on at the times that he wore it. He wouldn't have wanted the costume without it though. The sound on the speaker is extremely low. Overall good for the costume but not practical for use.

My son loved this part of his costume. He liked the fact that the visor flipped up and back down. But, it was pretty heavy and cumbersome for a little guy, so he didn't wear it as much as I would have liked. Also, only the person wearing the helmet could actually hear the voice. Overall, I probably wouldn't purchase it again for that much money.

My son loved the talking helmet but found it a little heavy for a 5 yr old. (The cap that came with the costume is plenty cute enough so only buy if you can afford it)

This helmet is really cool, but the problem is, it's a little too heavy. Don't think my 8 year old will be able to wear it for a long time, especially when trick-or-treating. If your child is small or young, be careful before you spend the money. Also, the talking part really isn't that loud.
