I actually use the dinner plates as cake plates to hold a variety of desserts. They're nice and thick and durable.

Ordered for my son's 6th birthday party. The room set up with the tablecloth's; plates; napkins; etc looked spectacular. The 3D effects were great (make sure you order the 3D glasses). Even the place holding the party was impressed!
