Title: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I bought this for my 10 year old son. I had read the reviews and knew that the costume ran small. I ordered an extra large which should fit my son he wears a size 8 and is 65 pounds. It stated an extra large(14-16) fits children 85-100 pounds so I thought there should be no problems. We got it and not only was it already ripped but it was so small we had to have someone fix it so he could wear it. Next year we will just stick to going to a costume store so we know it will fit!

Title: Really small

My son really wanted this costume. He normally wears a 10 so I ordered the 10-12. He couldn't even get the mask on his head. We returned it and go the 14-16. The shirt just fits and the mask was still tight around his eyes. My son is a bean pole. He'll never get to wear this next year.

My son wears a medium but I ordered an x-large. It is still way too small. He couldn't even get the mask on his head and the shirt was skin tight!

Title: Runs Small!!!!

I purchased this costume for my 7 year old who is on the smaller side for his age (short and skinny). He normally wears a size 5/6, so I thought the 7/8 would work. Boy was I wrong!!! The 7/8 wouldn't even fit my 4 year old!!!! My son tried to put the shirt on and we literally had to cut it off of him because it was so tight!!! The mask is not the best quality, the eye holes are not large enough but my son loves it so he's going to wear the mask and we are going to make him a shirt similar to the one that came with the costume. Needless to day I am very disappointed!

This costume was much smaller than the size 7/8 label. It was very short and snug. My son is thin and it looked like a belly shirt. Not as it was pictured. Tanya from Customer service was wonderful. She sent me 2 new sizes over night so we could try them and send the others back

Title: Not what I expected

This costume runs small! My son wears a boys 10-12. We bought the large and the shirt wouldn't fasten in the back and the mask was VERY tight. He complained that it was uncomfortable and was squeezing him around his eyes/nose.

Title: TOO TIGHT

For an average-sized 8-year-old, I had to pay shipping BOTH WAYS to reorder a size 14-16. (I followed reviews and ordered 10-12 at first, but still tiny.) I shredded the back of the mask trying to get it to fit comfortably. My son ended up not wearing the mask at all because it was slicing his face and was too uncomfortable. WHAT A WASTE! My son has worn other masks, but this one had sharp edges digging in around the eyes. We even tried sunglasses underneath to protect his eye sockets. My son was in tears because his costume wouldn't work. Luckily, he is resilient, but this costume very nearly ruined our Halloween!!!!! I can't believe I paid this much money just to disappoint my kid with an unwearable costume. We did pay extra for the guitar, so he just wore the shirt and guitar with shades and spike hair. NOT WORTH $35 for a cheap jacket!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 11 year old son typically wears size 10. We got this in size 14/16 and it was too small. the mask didn't even fit my 9 or 6 year olds. It was disappointing. If it had fit, we would have been very happy with it.

Title: Mask Hurts, Shirt Way too small

My son fell in love with this (which is the only reason I bought a 2-piece costume for over $30). I was in a hurry, so I didn't read the reviews...it runs way, way small. Order 2 sizes bigger and beware the mask is not very soft inside, it hurts his face. I'm a little annoyed with the costume but he had such a hard time deciding I ordered the larger size, am returning the smaller size and will be more careful next time.

After reading several reviews about the small sizing of this costume, I ordered it in a larger size (my 7 yr old would normally wear the 7/8). The 10/12 was just a little loose, so I was glad to have ordered the larger size. The mask fits him fine, though it probably wouldn't fit someone much bigger than him. Overall, I am satisfied with this costume, and my son loves it.

Title: Another sizing issue.....

We ordered the large 10-12 for my son. He is a 4'6" and weighs 85 lbs. This costume should have been the perfect fit. WRONG. It is tiny. It rides up in the front and does not stay fastened in the back. The mask was a nighmare, we finally put it in the dryer to heat it up and then stretched it over a bowl to get it to a comfortable size. This is the last costume I order online...

ordered this costume in the xl 14-16 and it ran closer to a 10-12 had to alter it so he could wear it-mask runs small too, we were trying to stretch it so he could wear it!

Title: Wayyyy too small

My son wears a size 14 so I ordered the 14 - 16. He could barely get the shirt over his head and it looked like a midriff. Mask was too small also. I would compare the sizing to a size 8.
