Title: Cute but flimsy

My 4 year old daughter wanted this to complete her Southern Belle outfit. This parasol was shown with the Southern Belle costume. It's very tall and the lace seems sturdy. But the latch to keep it open keeps slipping, so it never stays open. I wedged a piece of paper in there to keep it open, but it's a hassle to find a piece of paper, fold it up, wedge it in there, and remove it every time she wants to use this parasol. Oh well, maybe she'll outlive it soon.
