Title: okay for the money

The robe looks good. It is a warm thick polyester material that will pass in Florida if we have a cool October. The button clip that came with it doesn't really hold the robe together well. I will probably have to secure it with a safety pin.

Title: cheesy material

I was disappointed as well as my 9 yr. old daugther when she put on the robe. It is a thick flessy material. Not worth the money. I sent it back. It would have been better in a different material so it would flow like a robe, not feel and look like a bathrobe!

This is the cutest costume especially with the striped tie! My daughter runs around the house quoting lines from the movie and book.. It's very much like what you would imagine the robe to be and much more!

I ordered this costume for my grandson for his birthday, along with most of the accessory items. They arrived quickly, and all were of excellent quality. The stars in his eyes were my reward! Will definitely recommend to family & friends!

This was a great costume for my son. It was light weight enough to wear indors but also kept him war while trick or treating. I especially liked the clasp at the neck rather than some kind of tie string or hook. Nicely done.

Title: Looks great ... with the tie and clasp

Everyone immediately recognized who he was supposed to be, and there was no one else in the same costume at the city-wide event we attended. Of course, my son is a bit of a Harry Potter ringer, and we drew a scar on his forehead with red marker, so I'm sure that helped. We also bought the tie, which turned out to be a really good choice. (And we had him carry a child-sized broom we had around the house.) We had some trouble with the clasp that came with this robe, though, as it broke the first time we tried to use it, took a lot of time and effort to repair it, and required a lot of care to keep it from breaking again (which I think actually happened at least once more after the first time). It's also not meant to be tumble-dried, so it will take some time to clean the lint and such off it after it's been washed. But it's a good value, and we enjoyed it.

I was pleasant surprised by the quality. I am not sure if it can be washed, but if so, it could be used all winter as a bathrobe.

My kids love pretending to be characters from Harry Potter. It's such a pleasure to see their imaginations at work and their faces so happy while wearing these great costumes that make them feel like they are Hogwarts students!

After purchasing cheaply made, fall apart costumes from other retailers, i am delighted to finally get this item. My son wore it before, during and after Halloween and it is still going strong.

My son wore this 4 times throughout October to different events. It was one of the best Harry Potter robes I saw. He received lots of compliments on it, even from other Harry Potter's. It hung well and is in good enough condition for a younger child to use it. It did start to pill up after trick-or-treating. I also found that it ran a bit short; I wish I had ordered a size larger.

I ordered the smaller size at the recommendations of others on this site and my daughter is a size 6x. The material was a thick and fleecy and it was a good length for her. She was thrilled, and I definitely would recommended this costume for Harry Potter fans!
