These lanterns aren't paper or glossy plastic, they are made of cloth! The quality and overall appearance was better than expected. The fringe and gold accents were a nice touch.We hung the largest one from the center of our pagoda and the other 2 we hung at our "lantern bar".

it is made well. It has a fabric covering and not paper so it's durable. Great color. Doesn't light up. You can see a little glue on the fabric but not too bad. I'm very happy with my purchase.

My baby girl turned 3 yrs. old & i had the Kai-lan theme party. The lantern went amazing with this theme. It gave it such a oriental look & it is of good quality. Everyone kept asking where did i get them. Thank You celebrate express the party was a hit.

These latterns can be reused because they are plain. They are lighter than expected but they look so authentic. Saved about $3.00 purchasing the set. well worth it.
