The best feature of this costume is the vest. It has many pockets for stashing all the "gear" little boys like to carry. The quality of the uniform fabric is good. The vest is a bit flimsy but adequate. The hat does run small. If the costume came with a helmet instead, I'd rate it at 5 stars.

As others said, the hat is too small and that is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I ordered a size too big thinking that would solve the hat problem, but it didn't. If you want the costume, just assume the hat doesn't come with it, or use it as an accessory on the wall or something! The costume was great. My 6 year old loved it! He wore it to all our family Christmas's on Christmas Day! He has had so much fun in it already!

Title: Great Value Costume

I purchased this item for my son to wear for Halloween. He picked it out from the catalog and I made the purchase online. He was so excited when it arrived (shipping was prompt) he went upstairs to try it on. I ordered one size larger for him and it fit very well. The hat, like previous comments have stated is small, but luckily he has a small head. The outfit he continues to wear. Overall I was very pleased with my purchase both with the quality of the product and the price.

This costume was picked by my 9 year old son as a Halloween costume. We figured he could use parts of this costumer after Halloween to wear as play clothes or even to school with a solid shirt or jeans, etc. We had a set of "dog tags" made engraved with his name for an added touch. The costume arrived on time and was exactly as described and fit perfect. He was very excited to wear it.

My son loves this costume. We actually purchased it early and he will not take it off. He literally wears it on a daily basis. I have had to wash it multiple times since we got it. It is durable. It stands up to him....

Pants, vest, and velcro shirt are all great. Hat is real small. I may have to cut it in the back and put some extra material in it so it will fit his head. His head is big, but not that big!The hat would be better for a 7 year old.

MY 8 YEAR OLD WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THIS COSTUME. THE WRONG SIZE PANTS WERE SENT BUT THEY SENT THE CORRECT SIZE. HE FEELS LIKE A TRUE SOLDIER!

This purchase was easy and reliable - came on time and my son loved the costume. It was durable for a very active young man - the vest with the pockets was the real sell - he was able to put all his treasures and candy in the pockets and he was happy all day.
