My daughter was thrilled when she saw the broken doll costume. She is always looking for something different that the other kids have not already chosen. The picture indicates actual oversized stitching holding the dress together, but when we received the product, the "stitching" was screen printed on the dress with no actual separation of the dress. Also I ordered a larger size purposely just in case something had to be worn underneath, but the dress was actually very tight and I had to sew the back opening closed because the velcro tore away. The tights were twice the size of the dress, but we just pinned and tucked to rectify that. She liked the finished look, but we were very unsatisfied with the product.
