It turned out he was really a puppet!

...But convincingly real to Captain Kirk and the mates of the Enterprise! This deluxe overhead latex mask is a favorite old face of the original Star Trek.

We did a Star Trek Series with our your group all of the costumes including the Balok mask were awesome. The students thought they were really cool! I would highly recommend it. Great quality and looked just like the character form the original pilot of Star Trek.
