I went by the measurements on the site and the skirt was way too big. I would recommend getting one size smaller than what the measurements say. I ended up having to cut the bottom a few inches. My daughter got an award for best dress.

Won't be able to wear after halloween. iT got dirty from 2 wears and it got knubby. The felt isn't the best fabric for good wear. The waist was too big, need tighter elastic

The quality of the skirt was very good. The shirt was decent. Nice that the costume came with the belt, too. However, the child's XL skirt was huge! It was closer to a Women's 12. Too big around the waist and way too long. The belt was an XL Child's size. Just order smaller than you think you need.
